Start DC Checks Out One of DC’s Newest Art Galleries.

LATELA (pronounced “Nutella” with a “La”) is Marta Staudinger’s newly-opened Brookland art gallery and creative space. And like the hazelnut spread with which it shares syllables, LATELA is already winning fans. The space was recently voted DC’s best commercial art gallery by Washington City Paper in its 2016 reader poll.

LATELA’s current exhibition, “Collage” features collage and mixed media pieces by over 24 DC and international artists. The exhibit—and the chance to view the gallery—is well worth the trip to DC’s northern edges.

Here are a few “Collage” highlights.

“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.”
